21 months. 300+ people. One big-bang go-live, delivered two months early.
On August 1, Botsford flipped the switch on Fenergo's Fen-X for our client — a complete reimagining of how they onboard their clients into Capital Markets. This milestone is the result of extraordinary work by our team, led from day one by Program Manager Josef Nulman, whose vision, discipline, and steady leadership carried the program from concept to go-live.
What started as an idea in September 2023 was formally launched in November 2024, guided by a simple but ambitious goal: build an onboarding journey centered on efficiency and client experience, strengthen our client's ability to manage risk and meet regulatory obligations, and give the business real self-sufficiency going forward.
This wasn't a system swap. The team rebuilt the foundation: a modern Cloud SaaS platform, secure client data infrastructure on Databricks, and the groundwork to make the business genuinely AI-ready. A few numbers, because the scale deserves them:
Numbers like these don't come from good software alone. They come from people showing up, again and again, for something bigger than their individual task list — designers, testers, trainers, data migration specialists, regional leads, and everyone in between who kept pushing when the finish line felt far away.
If this program reinforced one thing, it's that in an age obsessed with automation, it was human judgment, grit, and teamwork that carried the work across the line. Technology gave the tools; people gave the outcome.
